David Bellino

 

David Bellino, CEO/Creative Director, began his filmmaking career as a music video director and producer, showcasing numerous artists on MTV and VH1. Lensing for major acts, management and record companies such as Virgin, Sony, EMI/Capitol, BMG and MCA. As director, Bellino was chosen to spearhead a year-long production for the Rolling Stones Voodoo Lounge with Virgin America. This effort also included multimedia consultant for the Stones' "Stripped" enhanced CD. His interactive media and film work has been critically praised by Entertainment Weekly, USA Today, Billboard magazine and international film festivals. 


In business development, Bellino has secured partnerships and helped align distribution with numerous companies such as Visa USA, Virgin, GTE Interactive, Hasbro Entertainment, Universal/MCA, Lionsgate, Reelz/Hubbard Broadcasting, and Icon Film Distribution. His creative path as a filmmaker and multimedia pioneer has enabled Bellino's production company Left of Creative to produce more than two-hundred digital media products and award-winning videos/series for government organizations such as Department of Defense, Department of Justice and Department of Interior. 


Bellino is now focused on music-driven narrative and documentary works, including a deeply moving documentary "The Guest List: America's Deadliest Rock Concert". The film is a strikingly visual and epic human-interest story that explores the causes and aftermath of one of the most horrific events in music history, the Station nightclub fire. The documentary is now being distributed internationally through Icon Films. His current directing work includes the dramatic feature film "Fallen Awake", a dark, intimate passage of a singer/songwriter who finds music, truth, and fragile beauty that survives when social media screens go dark.
